Mary Agnes Manor is a 230-bed Assisted Living Residence located on the beautiful and historic D’Youville Campus.

As a the Director of Housekeeping at Mary Agnes Manor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for our residents and staff.

About the Role:

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing effective cleaning protocols, managing staff, and maintaining budgetary responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent performance

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including laundry, trash removal, and floor maintenance

• Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the facility

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards

• Develop and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring cost-effective operations

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Supervisory Housekeeping Role

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising staff

• Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning protocols and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
