Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Drinking Water Treatment Business Class (BC) Lead will be an internally and externally facing leader for our Drinking Water (DW) team in the Georgia-Alabama/Mississippi Water Business Group. This role has three (3) primary responsibilities: Lead our group’s efforts to achieve our strategic BC initiatives, serve as a technical champion in Drinking Water Treatment; and partner with our team members to grow and deliver our Drinking Water project portfolio. To meet our Drinking Water initiatives, drive growth, and promote innovation, you’ll be expected to be a presence in the marketplace (e.g. conferences, professional organizations) and to be an effective partner with our client managers and business development leaders (e.g. proposal development). As a technical champion for your BC, you’ll be expected to develop and mentor our young drinking water engineers and EITs, participate in quality reviews, communicate national BC to staff, and serve as a Project Manager on Drinking Water projects for our clients. This candidate is expected to be an effective partner with the Georgia-Alabama/Mississippi Water Business Group Manager, business development staff, client managers and be adept at engaging HDR’s broad resources outside of the area to support our local program.
