Maarif School is seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school team.

Schedule: 3 days per week
Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and oversight to students in accordance with physician orders, school policies, and applicable New Jersey regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
• Review student immunization records and monitor compliance with New Jersey immunization requirements.
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and staff regarding student health needs and concerns.
• Assist with school health education and wellness initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school districts, community organizations, government agencies, students, supervisors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey .
• Previous experience working with children; school nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate health documentation.
• Valid driver’s license.
